Of course we cannot run a restaurant with a couple of students. Many volunteers are necessary to make Happietaria Enschede a succes! To subscribe as volunteer as a waiter, cook or person doing the dishes, you go to the Dutch version of the website and click Vrijwilliger worden. Much fun to help for an evening with friends, colleagues or fellow students! This is only available in Dutch since the language used in the restaurant will be Dutch.

The kitchen itself is an important part of the restaurant. Therefore we are looking for cooks that would like to help us one or more evenings between 19th of May and 16th of June. Persons that are willing to be responsible over the kitchen as chief-cook and cook helpers to support the chief-cook are both needed.

Today we went to the restaurant where Happietaria will take place with the whole team and some committee members. We could generate ideas about the interior design, get instructions for machinery and ask all our questions. The owner of the restaurant was very helpful, which led to a nice tour around the building.

In the coming two months we will work on our own interior design and decoration. The building committee takes care of all practical matters and the charity committee thinks about texts, pictures and more stuff at the wall, on the tables and at the entrance about the charity. We hope to have a beautiful restaurant on the 19th of May where you can have a delicious dinner and know about where the money goes to. You can make your reservation online very soon!

After many suggestions, visits and negotiations we found a location in the centre of Enschede! Cooking studio Kook & Ço makes their restaurant temporarily available for Happietaria. It is a fantastic location with all facilities and a good accessibility. From 19th of May until 16th of June we are open at Noorderhagen 14 in Enschede. The reservation system will be online very soon, where you can book a spot in our restaurant to ensure a nice evening with a contribution for a charity!
